Name: Punta di Colle I.G.T. Colline Pescaresi Chardonnay V.Q.P.R.D.
Provenance: Rosciano (Pescara) Abruzzo - Italy.
Grapes: 90% Chardonnay and 10% local different grapes.
Vinification: soaking of the skins into the must at low temperature for about 12 - 24 hours. Complete separation of the must and fermentation at 12-22° C. Controlled temperature in new little barrels.
Ageing: in new little barrels for about 12 - 18 months and in bottles for about 6 months.
Organoleptic characteristics: luminous yellow colour. Abonuding and intense flavour, with a reminiscence of citrus fruit and spices; vigorous, equilibrated, well blended and long lasting in the mouth.
Serving suggestion: hors d'œuvre, with delicate sauced pasta and fish soup. The ampleness of its flavours persists through fine notes of yellow flowers that meld with superfine spicy nuances of cinnamon, cloves, chow-chow.
Alcoholic strength: 14,5° C.
Serving temperature: enjoy it at 10°-12° C temperature.
