An imposing wine, it is made from a blend of Pinot Nero, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes in the classic proportions of 45%, 40% and 15%, respectively, thus endowing it with characteristic structure and smoothness. It ages in the bottle for a variable period of between 4 and 6 years, and, once ready, presents a golden appearance, with a fine-grained, persistent perlage. The nose combines hints of bread and vanilla, while the palate is lively and velvet-textured.
Colour: straw yellow with a hint of green.
Effervescence: abundant and effervescent, very fine perlage, intense and persistent.
Bouquet: complex and powerful, intense and pleasant, with hints of flowers and vanilla and a clear smell of crusty bread.
Taste: dry, lively to the taste, excellent body, elegant and balanced.
Alcool: 12,50% vol.
Servings suggestion: that is not only a great aperitif but also a fine accompaniment to ambitious mains.
Suggested serving temperature: Serve chilled to a temperature of 6-8°C.
